Abstract
A theory unifying all vector gage fields partaking in both strong and electromagnetic interactions is proposed. To solve the problem of non- destruction of isotopic spin conservation by the electromagnetic field in this theory, charged leptonic fields are postulated. These leptonic fields deny higher symmetry transformations, relating the electromagnetic and non-Abelian fields, and thus give the electromagnetic field its usual physical influence. A second term violating gage invariance is hypothesized to maintain the principle of stationary action, violated by the inclusion of electromagnetic lepton interactions. The physical mass problem is considered. (M.J.T.)
