Abstract

Novel properties of 2D Dirac materials make them attractive candidates to study the quantum effects. In anisotropic 2D materials, using an annihilation operator, coherent states of the electrons can be defined. In this paper we have considered non-classical properties of such states including entanglement, statistical properties, squeezing and polarization properties. Introducing bases, we find that these states are entangled in some ranges of coherence parameters. Also, with the use of Mandel parameter, we realize that the states may have sub-Poissonian statistics. In addition, coherent states may be squeezed and polarized in some values of parameters. As well as, the entanglement will vanish and the polarization degree goes to its maximum for the large values of parameters.
