Abstract

We highlighted on the formation of self-diffraction ring patterns in CdSe quantum dots solution using spatial self-phase modulation (SSPM). The self-diffraction ring patterns parameters of the CdSe solutions were extracted using the theoretical diffraction model. The numerical diffraction ring patterns were in consistent with the experimental diffraction rings using different laser powers. Our results give new insight into the CdSe QDs dissolved in toluene and could be valuable for further development and research of semiconductor QDs optical devices.
