Abstract
Key points AMI (acute myocardial infarction) cardiogenic shock patients should be transferred immediately to an mechanical circulatory support (MCS) center. Transfer delays for MCS placement is associated with worse outcomes. “Hub and spoke model” for transfer of AMI cardiogenic shock (AMICS) patients to dedicated Shock care centers with advanced MCS should be implemented.
