Abstract
Memristor-based sensors have been investigated as innovative gas sensors owing to their advantages, including high-response and room-temperature (RT) operation. We demonstrated high-accuracy in a gas sensor array using a boron nitride (BN) by applying it to a real-time NO monitoring system. The proposed BN-based NO sensor array exhibited a high-response up to 8922 and a low detection limit of 0.5 ppm at RT. We especially observed a 17–fold reduction in the error-rate in the array compared to the unit cell when we compared the error-rate of the responses to the unit cell and array structures, which helped to avoid overfitting at the physical level and improved its operation speed and accuracy. As a result, we built a real-time monitoring system using the proposed memristor sensor array, which enables a real-time monitoring with 3.7 mW as well as a gas analysis with a deep-learning function.
