Abstract
β-blocker treatment has been proven to improve heart function, morbidity, and survival in patients with systolic heart failure (HF). However, there is limited data addressing the effects of β-blockers in the setting of cocaine use as there is a perceived risk of adverse outcomes from unopposed alpha-receptor activation.
