Abstract

For Vietnamese students and learners majoring in the Chinese language, learning about the cultural connotations in Chinese names is also a must-have topic. From the perspective of applied linguistics, on the basis of scientific theory and practice, by means of investigation, survey, statistics, analysis, and synthesis, the article clarifies the perception of students majoring in Chinese language, Hung Vuong University on Chinese naming culture, laid a scientific foundation for solutions and recommendations on teaching and learning Chinese in Vietnam, contributing to improving the quality of teaching, specialized research.
