Abstract
This article aims to understand the factors that promote and hinder the formation of reading habits of primary school students in ethnic minority in Yen Bai and Quang Nam provinces. The results of this study will be used to make the necessary changes to encourage children's reading in order to achieve the goal of supporting children in primary school. The study collected detailed data on reading habits, and the factors affecting the formation and maintenance of habits of primary school students. Methods of Focus Group Discussion, In-depth Interview, and Personal Interview (using a questionnaire) were used with the study's beneficiaries (students, teachers, parents).
