Abstract

We were driving along the Great North Road (A1) about 12 miles north of Stamford, and came to the village of Colsterworth. There, we thought it would be worthwhile to break the journey and to visit Woolsthorpe Manor, the birthplace of Isaac Newton, which is situated less than a mile NW of Colsterworth.
