Abstract
The Bloodhound supersonic car, now 95 per cent complete including a Eurofighter Typhoon jet engine, has been finally unveiled to the public ahead of making its first attempt to break the world land-speed record next year. A team of mechanical engineering students from the University of Liverpool has designed and built the UK's fastest bicycle, which finished fourth at the World Human Powered Speed Challenge in September.
