Abstract
Professor John E. Ivey, head of the division of poultry husbandry at Alabama Polytechnic Institute since 1923, has resigned to go into the commercial field. He will be associated with Allied Mills, Inc.G. A. Trollope, extension specialist in poultry at Alabama Polytechnic Institute, has been appointed head of the division to succeed Professor Ivey.Stanley Caton, a graduate of Kansas State Agricultural College in 1927, has been employed as field agent in poultry at the University of Kentucky, effective October 1.H. J. Sloan, B. S. Illinois, 1926, Ph. D., Cornell, 1929, was appointed instructor and research assistant in poultry husbandry at the University of Illinois beginning October 1.L. G. Neel, until recently engaged in poultry extension work at Clemson College, South Carolina, has been employed by Hales and Hunter of Chicago.E. W.
