Abstract
For a long time, religious extremist forces, ethnic separatist forces, international terrorist forces and other forces have been intertwined, bringing great challenges to peace and security in Pakistan and even surrounding region. In recent years, under the influence of weak official intervention, strategic adjustment of big powers, special international environment and other factors, terrorism in Pakistan has shown a new trend. After experiencing a low tide period, the terrorism has an obvious revival trend. The key areas of terrorist attacks have a tendency to move eastward, and the political demands of terrorist organizations are constantly improving. This paper holds that Pakistan’s terrorism needs comprehensive measures, and many measures such as strengthening international anti-terrorism cooperation, promoting anti-terrorism legislation, and promoting the policy of counter-terrorism should be taken in parallel.
