Abstract
As part of an advanced development project, Iwis Ketten, Joh. Winklhofer & Sohne GmbH & Co. KG, Munich, has pre-engineered a new, forwardpointing tooth chain generation for use in diesel engines. The findings gathered in relation to NVH behavior, wear and strength are outlined in the following article.
