Abstract

AbstractComposite microspheres of TKX‐55 and fluororubber were prepared by microfluidic method. The binding energy and mechanical properties were calculated by Materials studio, F2604 was determined as the binder. The particle size of the composite microspheres is between 100 and 200 μm, the bulk density, impact sensitivity and theoretical detonation velocity have made considerable progress. The combustion performance of the composite was characterized. It was found that the addition of fluororubber could inhibit the combustion of TKX‐55 and improve the safety of the composite. TKX‐55 has the potential to be used as the main explosive component of the new heat‐resistant PBX.
