Abstract
New research has found that attention‐deficit/hyperactivity disorder and reading disability frequently occur together in children (bit.ly/4i5LEKO). The study was conducted by Erik Wilcutt, a professor of psychology and neuroscience at the University of Colorado Boulder, and Stephen Petrill, a professor in the Department of Psychology at Ohio State University. Their research highlights how these co‐occurring conditions complicate diagnosis, treatment, and long‐term outcomes, urging a reevaluation of how clinicians approach childhood developmental challenges.
