Abstract

With the progress of allogenetic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT), especially umbilical cord blood transplantation (UCBT), central nervous system(CNS) complications after transplantation have become more prominent. At present, the etiological analysis of such complications mainly focuses on infection, treatment-related toxicity, immune response, cerebrovascular events, infiltration of primary tumor and so on. In this article, we review the new progress in etiology of CNS complications after allo-HSCT.
