Abstract
Abstract New organic dyes with pyrrolic conjugated π spacers have been prepared in combination with a triphenylamine donor and a cyanoacrylic acid acceptor. Various alkyl substituents can be introduced on the nitrogen atom of the pyrrole ring. The dyes are readily adsorbed on TiO2, and the conversion efficiency is over 5% in DSSC.
