Abstract

Three new Laboulbeniales (Ascomycetes) occurring on shore-flies (Ephydridae) are described. These are Stigmatomyces bettellae, parasitic on Parydra aureola, S. hydrochasmatis, parasitic on Hydrochasma incisum, and S. visinonii, parasitic on Dimecoenia spp. Twelve other Laboulbeniales parasitic on Diptera are reported, ten of which are new records for South America: Ilytheomyces anomalus, I. calycinus, I. lingulatus, I. manubriolatus, S. constrictus, S. crassicollis, S. discocerinae, S. entomophilus, S. ilytheae, S. limnophorae, S. pentandrus, and S. rugosus.
