Abstract
The paper presents a synopsized list for eight species of Charales of the Ukraine and their new occurrences, a degree of vulnerability and category of protection indicated for rare Chara connivens Salzm. ex A. Braun, Ch. delicatula C. Agardh, Nitella capillaris (Krock.) J. Groves et Bull.-Webst., N. mucronata (A. Braun) Miq. in H.C. Hall, and Nitellopsis obtusa (Desv. in Loisel.) J. Groves.
