Abstract
A new method for the efficiency calibration of Ge(Li) detectors is proposed which utilizes the continuous external bremsstrahlung radiation. This method makes it possible to determine the relative efficiency for any energy in the region of interest. The feasibility of this method is demonstrated by using the external bremsstrahlung from 204Tl and 90Sr + 90Y sources.
