Abstract

AbstractThe educational approach of the School of Design at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne is predicated on peer learning and integration with the building industry and the wider architectural profession, and is also deeply embedded in creating solutions to urban design issues. This praxis gives students a platform from which to develop their skill in real and complex environments. The school's Dean, Jane Burry, reveals some examples of their work and expands on its aims and objectives.
