Abstract

The scientific and technological progress in space engineering, creation of new supersonic aircrafts, nuclear power and other modern industries require the development of methods of measuring forces, deformations, stresses and other parameters of devices and equipment. The most important problems here are more accurate forecasting of reliability and resource work equipment in a wide range of stresses, temperature, environment, the influence of various physical fields (acoustic, electromagnetic, radiation etc.) and other external factors. In this manuscript introduced potential applications of samarium monosulfide in the fields of small deformations, low weight, minimum dimensions, as well as radiation resistance, which is especially important for space tribology.
