Abstract
Two-dimensional Zn1−xBxO (x = 0.0, 0.01, 0.03, 0.05) hexagonal nanodisks, were synthesized via simple solution method. The crystallographic analysis evidenced the successful incorporation of B3+ ion into ZnO lattice with pure wurtzite phase. With confirmed structure and morphology Zn1−xBxO samples were utilized as photoelectrode material in dye sensitized solar cell device and achieved respectable enhancement in efficiency. The device interface study was further conducted using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, revealed better charge transport process and charge storage capability.
