Abstract

This paper focuses on the construction of 16-QAM Golay complementary sequence pairs (CSPs) of length N = 2n. Based on the standard binary Golay-Davis-Jedwab (GDJ) CSPs, we present a method so as to convert the aforementioned GDJ sequence pairs into the required sequence pairs. The resultant sequence pairs have the upper bound 2N of peak envelope power (PEP), and their family size arrives at (20n-16)(n!/2)2n+1 Our sequence pairs can be used as the inputs of the QAM signals apparatuses driven only by binary signals.
