Abstract
New conducting TCNQ salts were obtained from 8-hydroxyquinoline ethers and biethers. The stoichiometry was established by optical spectroscopy. The value of the conductivity deduced from reflectivity measurements is 400 – 500 (Ω cm) −1. All the salts obtained are stable at temperatures ⩽150 °C in the solid state. A disproportionation was observed in acetonitrile solution.
