Abstract
Using a probabilistic approach, the influence of dose distribution after the dose distribution due to artificial nuclides is added to that for NORM has been studied. On the basis of such an approach, the dose criteria of the order of 0.01 mSv/year for exemption and clearance could be set higher, for example, to the order of 0.1 mSv/year.
