Abstract
After the wind turbine is integrated into the distribution network through the inverter, the distribution network of the original one-way trend is transformed into a complicated distribution network with two-way power flow, so that the traditional current protection can not meet the safe operation of the powergrid. To solve this problem, a newalgorithm for calculating the back-side impedance and fault type coefficients is proposed based on the new type of current protection in the distribution network. It can meet the requirement that the wind turbine is connected to the distribution network and is reliable in the protection range, Within the protection of reliableaction. To solve the traditional current protection can not adapt to the system impedance changes, changes in wind power access and short circuit type changes caused by security risks. The feasibility of the new algorithm of adaptive current protection is verified by using MATLAB to build the distribution network model.
