Abstract
Fast neutron contamination of high-energy bremsstrahlung beams in radiotherapy has been investigated. Neutron fluences for the Varian Clinac-18 linear accelerator were measured at positions inside and outside the treatment room and the effects on patient dose and environmental dose were calculated.
