Abstract

Recently, a new long-range order was observed in the Ba 3Ca 1.18Nb 1.82O 9−δ+ xD 2O proton conductor, where x≠0. In order to get more information concerning atomic arrangements in these complex perovskite oxides systematic neutron and X-ray diffraction studies of the stoichiometric and non-stiochiometric compound with and without D 2O were performed. Oxygen positions and oxygen concentration were determined.
