Abstract

1. A universal experimental apparatus, which makes it possible to conduct comprehensive intrareactor investigations of the mechanical properties of structural materials with a specimen subjected to both a steady and nonsteady neutron flux and temperature has been developed. 2. Intrareactor testing is possible under conditions more closely resembling those of the real operating conditions of the structural elements in nuclear reactors. 3. The possibility of formulating the equation of state, which includes the radiation parameter in explicit form, manifests itself on the basis of experimental data obtained during investigations with the specimen subjected to variable reactor regimes.
