Abstract
Aim: This review draws attention to the ethical dilemmas associated with research into crime and its neurobiological underpinnings.Methodology: The presentation of the paper is based on the methodology of content analysis and a professional analysis following the structure of the article.Findings: The author points to the ethical limits of the neurobiological reasons behind criminal behaviour, and urges moderation and caution in the use of scientific findings in legal proceedings.Value: The study highlights the boundaries of disciplines, especially natural sciences and medicine, and the concerns of researchers, which is a less preferred subject within the field of scientific research.
