Abstract
It is known that a lot of studies have been performed on the issue of redif usage in Turkish and a seperate title is given to the issue of redif and rhym especially when the divans, whose criticized texts are prepared, are reviewed. However, the works of some poets, who are biolingual and can poems both in Turkish and Persian, are not sufficiently examined. In Nesimi’s Turkish and Persian poems, who is known to give importance to the element sound in particularly Turkish poems, in order to see at least the general approach on usage of redif which is one of the elements providing sound in a poem, redifs which are in the level of words and group of words are subjected to a certain classification. The basic clasisificaton is constructed on sound an word similarity whivh form the base of redif in the light of quantitative datas. In this study; from Nesimi’s poems forth we are going to give place to both redif’s providing sound integrity in poems in context of harmony and redif examples which elicit such harnony in divans.
