Abstract

In this study, the relationship between students’ demographic characteristics and students’ satisfaction levels were examined by the non-linear canonical correlation analysis that used to examine the relationship between the categorical two sets of variables. The data were obtained from questionnaires applied to 973 vocational high school students. The relationship between first set of variables that consist of students’ satisfaction towards consultancy, the management of department and university, lecture and syllabus, physical facilities and teaching staff and second set of variables that consist of students’ demographic characteristics was examined. The relationship between these two sets of variables was determined not very strong which is 0.272 for first dimension and 0.260 for second dimension. According to the findings of the study, the separation power of the physical facilities is high and were found to be the main variable with the highest load value
