Abstract
Brachial plexus injury is the most common type of nerve injury seen in children. Contusion or laceration of the facial nerve is also peculiar to the neonatal age group. Both of these injuries are often seen in association with traumatic deliveries. Injection injuries seem to be more than just mechanical, and there is strong evidence to implicate chemical action of the drug administered. These three types of injuries and their management are discussed.
