Abstract
Intrauterine rectovaginal tears are an infrequent and life-threatening complication of breech presentation. One previous case has been presented in the literature with a fatal outcome. The authors report a second case of a severe rectovaginal intrauterine tear sustained during cesarean delivery. Prompt administration of antibiotics followed by de-bridement and primary repair was performed with a successful outcome.
