Abstract

AbstractThis paper focuses on the parasitic nematodes infesting cotton (Gossypium hirsutum) and other tropical fibre crops (kenaf (Hibiscus cannabinus), roselle (H. sabdariffa), and two species of jute (Corchorus capsularis and C. olitorius)). Their geographical distribution, symptoms, biology, population dynamics, survival, damage threshold and management measures are discussed.
