Abstract
Wireless ad hoc network will have a broad application prospect in both military and civilian fields. It is the foundation of wireless ad hoc network to accurately and quickly complete neighbor discovery of all nodes. At present, most traditional neighbor discovery algorithms choose to discard packets when they collide, and ignore the impact of collision in theoretical analysis. This paper proposes a neighbor discovery algorithm based on successive interference cancellation technology, which introduces successive interference cancellation (SIC) technology to deal with the collision of data packets, and carries on the mathematical modeling and theoretical analysis of the algorithm. Finally, the performance of the algorithm is simulated. It is verified that the introduction of SIC technology will improve the performance of neighbor discovery algorithm.
