Abstract

The growth of virtual reality applications in recent years has facilitated the active participation of people at the level of interactivity in games, simulations and mainly entertainment aspects. In educational environments, it is no exception and there are initiatives for the interaction of students with learning materials within immersive spaces. However, within this educational area, there are few studies relating to effective methods of navigation to access resources. The following study presents a proposal for Navigational search for resources in virtual reality based on a Knowledge Organization System (KOS), using as a case study topics associated with a zoo. The main objective is to analyze the association of concepts in a 3D navigation structure, and basic aspects of usability through the use of mobile devices
