Abstract
In order to study the natural vibration characteristics and dynamic response of the train-bridge coupling system during an earthquake, based on recent research production, a more accurate and reasonable finite element model of train-bridge coupling system for high-speed railway was established, a single bridge model without considering train-bridge coupling effect was also set up for comparison. The dynamic characteristics and seismic response under the action of typical ground motion were calculated, and the diversity of the single bridge model and train-bridge coupling model was compared, the acceleration amplification factor of these two models was also obtained. The results showed that, the natural vibration characteristics were obviously different between train-bridge model and single bridge model which could directly affect the dynamic response and running safety of the train. Finally, seismic response results comparison at typical seismic motions has further validated the differences between train-bridge model and single bridge model, and spectrum characteristic analysis results indicated that the characteristics of earthquake motions have significant influence on the seismic acceleration response of the trains and bridges.
