National energy security or acceleration of transition? Energy policy after the war in Ukraine

Abstract

Piotr Żuk—professor of sociology and president of the Institute for Sustainable Development and Renewable Energy Foundation. His main research interests are social movements (ecological, labor, climate), obstacles to environmental policy in Eastern Europe, energy policy, and energy transition. He analyzes the decarbonization process, the social aspects of the mining industry and the development of the civil energy sector. Paweł Żuk—doctor of sociology and employee of the Department of Sociology and Social Policy of The Wrocław University of Economics and Business. His main research interests are social inequalities, energy poverty, energy transition, and political sociology.
