Abstract

The purpose of this study is to revise and comprehend the historical significance of the intellectuals who survived the Gulag era and succumbed to repression in the camps, and the intelligentsia who did not compromise and firmly followed their beliefs. Throughout the entire period of the Gulag, the intelligentsia maintains the mentality of the victim, and we can say that this period is a period of violent memories with a reassessment of the relationship between intelligence and power.
