Abstract

As the development of therapy towards cancer, the second fatal disease in the world, new detection methods with higher selectivity and sensitivity have come along. Among all these methods, nanomaterials-based biosensors are gaining increasing popularity in this field. Herein, this review demonstrates three types of nanomaterials-based biosensors: optical biosensors, electrochemical biosensors and other biosensors. The advantages and disadvantages of these three biosensors are outlined and the future prospects are discussed.
