Abstract

Recently, a lot of interest in production of hydrogen because of the growing awareness of the depletion of fossil resources. Hydrogen is a desirable choice for many energy applications since it is widely available and has exceptional characteristics. Its storage as well as productivity has been prioritized for development. Understanding if the hydrogen qualifies as outstanding energy carrier is crucial to understanding the potential of green hydrogen synthesis. What would the role Nano materials in hydrogen production, storage and commercial usage be, furthermore? This article analyzed the characteristics of hydrogen energy qualities, green hydrogen, Nano materials used for the production, their production routes and commercial applications. To begin, we will provide a quick overview of hydrogen energy and its key properties. Following that, the significance of green hydrogen is thoroughly examined. Apart from the use of nano materials in the generation of green hydrogen, the production pathways for nano materials have also been addressed. The techno-economic assessment and the possibilities of employing hydrogen in numerous well-known energy applications are also examined. Lastly, the future direction is explained based on the investigation's findings. We genuinely hope that this study serves as a reference point for future research on the purpose of nano materials in hydrogen energy generation and storage.
