Abstract

Since the 17th century, feature of the culture of Modern Times originates its multinational, multilingualism. Medieval Latin gave way to national languages, which, on the one hand, enriched European culture with traditions and experience of folk art, on the other- made cultural achievements more accessible to the peoples of Europe. Rococo style inherited and enhanced the decorative Baroque and added gallantry to the interiors. The basis of the works of art of classicism, which replaced the somewhat shocking Baroque, was the desire for idealization. The artistic forms of classicism are characterized by strict organization, balance, clarity and harmony of images, restraint, strict observance of a number of rules and canons. Classicism was replaced by romanticism, and a little later by critical realism.
