Abstract
The reactive PUA was used as the matrices to prepare PDLC films with various liquid crystal contents and different concentrations of initiator by UV polymerization induced phase separation.The influence of concentrations of initiator and liquid crystal contents on the morphology and electro-optical property of PDLC films was studied through modified ultraviolet spectroscopy and digital microscope.It indicated that with the increase of the liquid crystal contents,the diameter of the liquid crystal droplets increased and the electro-optical property of PDLC films get better obviously and with the increase of the concentrations of initiator,the size of the liquid crystal droplets became smaller and Ton increased.
