Abstract
Pleomorphic adenoma in the epipharynx is rare. A 57-year-old female was referred to our department for treatment of a tumor in the epipharynx. Fiberscopic examination showed a roundshaped mass arising from the upper torus of the right eustachian tube. The tumor was removed surgically using the transpalatal approach with a Nd-YAG laser. The pathological examination revealed pleomorphic adenoma. Several months later, tumor recurrence was found and a second surgery was performed transnasally with an endoscope and a Nd-YAG laser. No signs of recurrence have been found after the second surgery.
