Abstract

In this paper,we experimentally studied how the rotational speed of ground-glass influences the quality of thermal ghost imaging. As the rotational speed of ground-glass increased, the dynamic speckles fluctuate faster, which reduced the coherence time of the speckle field, and the speckle pattern obtained by a CCD detector blurs.Yet,the contrast to noise ratio of the ghost image was virtually irrelevant to the rotational speed of ground-glass.Our experimental result showed that the quality of the ghost image did not degrade even when ground-glass rotates so fast that the blurred speckle pattern appears in CCD detector.
