Abstract
In the program now under way for developing a sodium-cooled fast reactor, research on kinetics is recognized to be very important for establishing the design and safety criteria. This review describes the kinetics problems to be solved in important domains such as: (1) reactivity coefficients, (2) examples of experiment and analysis thereof for a small fast reactor, (3) theoretical analysis of stability and accidents in a large fast reactor, (4) kinetics of a modular fast recator.
