Abstract

Translation is not only a transformation between two different languages or symbols, but also a kind of cross-cultural communication behavior, as well as a communication of ideas and cultures among different nationalities. Based on the analysis of the cultural context in the translation context, and taking Korean- Chinese translation as an example, this paper discusses the important role of cultural context in Korean-Chinese translation from the aspects of social culture context, historical culture context, language culture context and customs cultural culture.
