Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine practical use of an elastic floating unit with hanging structure (EFHAS) using the flexible piezoelectric device (FPED) we have proposed and developed in our previous works. We investigated electric performance of floating unit in EFHAS, optimized electric circuit and scale effect for electricity generated by FPED. It is cleared that the floating type of EFHAS is suitable for highly electric performance and the impedance matching should be required to work well. It is found that the optimized length of FPED for wave length W/λ is 0.25~0.3 and electric power in full scale could be related to the scale ratio α between experimental model and full scale one.
